NHS Confederation - Mental health should be a thread through STPs
Mental Health Network chief executive Sean Duggan has said in response to today's King's Fund report that mental health should be a golden thread throughout new models of care
Responding to the King’s Fund report on mental health and new models of care, Mental Health Network chief executive Sean Duggan, said:
"Mental health should be a golden thread throughout STPs and new models of care and we are committed to ensuring services are integrated effectively.
"The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health is a necessary, overdue and realistic plan to bring mental health care in England up to an acceptable standard and on a par with physical health.
“For this to happen, every part of the system, including any future Government, must fulfil their commitments.”
