NHS Digital: Data Security Centre – Request for Information for the Security Operations Centre.

NHS Digital are currently looking to procure the services of a strategic partner to support the development and delivery of a Security Operations Centre (SOC), which will deliver enhanced security capability and services to customers across the NHS estate.

In order to inform and challenge the development of the requirement, NHS Digital is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to the market. This RFI provides the opportunity for suppliers to provide information and feedback which will ensure that NHS Digital’s requirement is robust and market-ready prior to release of Tender documentation.

NHS Digital intends to test its assumptions and approach across the following areas:

• people, process & technology requirements to support the ambitious scope of current and future servicesvalidating the delivery approachvalidating the commercial approach.
• NHS Digital has developed an RFI document that will provide you with a lot of useful information, the RFI question set and background information on the requirement.
• NHS Digital intends to follow-up on RFI submissions at a subsequent Industry Event.

It’s important to understand that this RFI is issued without commitment, does not form part of the formal procurement process, and will not be evaluated or scored in any way.

Deadline for submission is 5pm on Monday 7 August 2017.
