New Insurance Services agreement expected to save £10 million
The Crown Commercial Service has worked collaboratively with other purchasing organisations to develop a new Insurance Services agreement.
To better understand the complex insurance market and the different ways insurance is bought, CCS and partners extensively engaged with the industry and public sector customers in the development of the new agreement.
This has resulted in an easy to use and compliant agreement, which is expected to save the public sector in the region of £10 million over its lifetime and features new areas of insurance cover, such as suretyship and claims handling.
Matt Denham, CCS Commercial Delivery Director commented: “Delivering efficiencies and cost savings to our customers is paramount, as is providing a quick and efficient route to market. Hearing the views of our customers and suppliers was a vital part of the process to deliver a first class agreement and ensure the needs of our buyers are met and that we take advantage of innovation in the supplier market.”

Public sector buyers can also find out more about the agreement and how it can deliver benefits for their organisation at a launch event in London on 12 May 2016. To register to attend this event please email email@example.com
