New Interim-CEO at The National Lottery Community Fund

BLF are delighted to have appointed David Knott as thier Interim CEO.

David joined the Fund in October 2020. He brings with him considerable experience in civil society and public service. David will carry out the role while we conclude our search for a permanent Chief Executive.

The Board would like to thank John Rose for his hard work and dedication. John will return as Director for Wales while working across the Fund on issues including environment and climate.

Blondel Cluff CBE, Chair of The National Lottery Community Fund, recently said:

“Firstly, I must thank John Rose for his immense support and dedication during my introduction to the Fund. Secondly, I would like to welcome David Knott to the role of Interim CEO, and look forward to working closely with him to support communities throughout the UK during this exceptionally challenging time.”

David Knott, interim-CEO of The National Lottery Community Fund, yesterday said:

“It is an honour to be asked to lead The National Lottery Community Fund as CEO for the next phase. I will focus on putting communities first, helping ensure the Fund is ready to emerge from the pandemic and provide the much-needed support to people and communities across the UK.”
