New report looks at automation's role in tackling the hidden challenge of legacy tech in the public sector

techUK member UiPath's new report explores how Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can bridge the gap between different pieces of legacy software, giving them a new lease of life.

The challenge of legacy IT in the public sector is all too familiar to many. Some of this technology dates as far back as the 1970s and a significant portion of Government revenue relies on outdated systems. Bit while the cost of keeping these systems running is incredibly high; they're often mission critical with a legislative remit and, therefore, cannot be left to fail. 

UiPath's new report Tackling the hidden challenge of legacy technology in the public sector takes a closer look at what the challenge is, including some specific crunch points; what's being done to address the challenge; and how, specifically, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can help the public sector overcome the challenges of outdated software.
