New techUK President outlines industry priorities to Business Secretary
As the new co-chair of the Government's Digital Economy Council, techUK's Jacqueline de Rojas attended a roundtable of industry leaders on the hot topic of productivity.
Last Friday, techUK's new President, Jacqueline de Rojas, attended a small roundtable with Business Secretary Sajid Javid MP and industry leaders in her capacity as new co-chair of the Government's Digital Economy Council. The roundtable looked at the UK's productivity problem and how the role in a 'modern industrial approach' in boosting the UK's productivity credentials.
The Secretary of State voiced his commitment to an industrial approach for the UK, working in partnership with business, and in particular highlighted the role of the Catapult network.
