Nominations now OPEN for techUK’s DA/AI Leadership Committee
Nominate yourself or a colleague now.
techUK recently (21 February 2020) opened nominations for members to join its Data Analytics and AI Leadership Committee. After a two-year tenure, the current Committee is due for re-elections.
The purpose of the Committee is to provide strategic direction for techUK’s Data Analytics and AI work programme to ultimately help ensure the data analytics and AI market continues to grow and scale in the UK and beyond. This is a key opportunity for members to shape and influence the programme so that it accurately reflects members’ priorities in this field.
The Committee meets every quarter to identify key opportunities and challenges that need to be addressed to maximise the value and adoption of data analytics and AI technologies. The Committee also acts as a sounding board for techUK’s response to relevant reports and government consultation responses.
To nominate yourself, or a colleague, simply read through the Terms of Reference (ToR) for the Data Analytics and AI Leadership Committee, complete the nomination form (both attached below) and return it to email@example.com by 17.30 on Friday 13 March at the latest. Following nominations the election process will be held from 16-20 March, with the members of the new Committee announced the week of the 23 March ahead of the first Committee meeting in early April.
Please note that only one representative per techUK member company is allowed to sit on the Leadership Committee at one time. Members of the Leadership Committee must be able to commit to attending and actively participating in activities as set out in the ToR.
Once the Committee is elected, the members will elect a Chair and Vice-Chair. Members interested in being considered as Chair and Vice Chair of the Committee are asked to mention this in their nomination.
If you are interested in nominating yourself and have any questions about the techUK Data Analytics and AI programme, please don’t hesitate to contact Katherine Mayes (firstname.lastname@example.org).
