Ofgem launches new Supplier Cost Index
Ofgem yesterday published its new Supplier Cost Index (SCI) which tracks ongoing trends in the main elements of costs that energy suppliers face.
This is part of our work to publish data and analysis to help people understand the energy market and increase transparency, particularly around energy prices.
We will update the SCI quarterly on our data portal where our wider suite of indicators on the energy market can also be found.
