On Monday, the Government announced plans to launch a consultation on scrapping Section 21.

The RLA’s response to this announcement made headlines, in both newspapers and broadcast news.

Here, we take a look at some of the media coverage from the past week.

On Monday morning, our policy director David Smith appeared on Sky News, talking about the RLA’s response to the announcement that the Government plans to launch a consultation to axe Section 21.

During the interview, David raised a key concern that the RLA has with the plans – that risk factors could increase if landlords lack the confidence that they will be able to gain possession of their property quickly if they need to. You can read the article on Sky News here.
