Paul Shamplina to address delegates at our Future Renting Wales conference

Television personality and founder of Landlord Action, Paul Shamplina, will address delegates at our Future Renting Wales conference this month.

Paul is famous for fronting a number of hit television shows on ITV and Channel 5, including “Nightmare Tenants Slum Landlords”.

The founder of ‘Landlord Action’, Paul has also spent over 25 years helping landlords and letting agents deal with tenants who are causing problems.

Future Renting Wales is the RLA’s annual one day conference in Cardiff, on 29th November.

With 20 per cent of households in Wales expected to be in the PRS by 2031, Future Renting Wales will help landlords understand the challenges up ahead – and how best to negotiate them.

Hosted by BBC Wales broadcaster Lucy Owen, expert speakers will address delegates on issues including Rent Smart Wales, the Wales fee ban, Welsh market insights and, of course, tax.

With a political heavyweight still to be announced, also speaking at the conference will be the Chief Executive of the Scottish Landlord’s Association, John Blackwood. John will be discussing some of the policies that are already in place in Scotland, that could also be introduced in Wales.

Expert Lawyer Dr David Smith will also be among those talking on the day, explaining the traps and pitfalls to avoid as Westminster introduces a raft of changes over the next year, with welfare reform, tax and energy efficiency set to have a huge impact.

Tickets for Future Renting Wales are £40 for RLA members and £45 for non-members. Booking as a group? Benefit from 4 tickets for the price of 3.
