STFC Gender Pay Gap Report published

The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) has published its Gender Pay Gap Report, containing a snapshot of the organisation’s gender pay gap for workers in scope as of 5 April 2017.

The comparison of mean pay in STFC shows a gap in favour of men of 8.5%, which is significantly reduced when splitting the average pay by grade.

STFC is actively working towards eradicating the gender pay gap within the organisation and this report also contains our plans on how we are addressing the gap.

From April 2018, STFC will be part of UK Research and Innovation, which is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, and will be responsible for future gender pay reporting.
