Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary, Sir Thomas Winsor, was invited to give a speech at the Police Federation’s 2017 conference. In his speech, Sir Thomas talks about the welfare of officers and staff in police forces as a matter of great importance. Additionally, he speaks about continuing work on force management statements, which will include an assessment of the welfare of the workforce.
