Six Degrees delivers Aegis cyber security benchmarking tool free for all Socitm members

Public sector organisations are operating in an evolving cyber security threat landscape.

Six Degrees’ award-winning cyber security benchmarking tool Aegis is now free through Socitm to UK public sector organisations, enabling them make better decisions regarding the protection of their data.

UK-based secure cloud service provider, Six Degrees, has today announced that Socitm members will be able to access its Aegis cyber security benchmarking tool free of charge. Aegis is a comprehensive benchmarking tool that provides organisations with a concise and contextual reporting mechanism for cyber security. Socitm members will be able to leverage Aegis to benchmark their cyber security and develop a roadmap to mitigate risks, enabling them to prioritise spend and enhance their cyber security postures.

Six Degrees delivers its Aegis tool as a module of Socitm’s Improve service, which measures members’ ICT performance to identify what is working well and what needs investment and attention. Socitm elected to work with Six Degrees due to the company’s demonstrable heritage of delivering holistic cyber security services to prominent organisations throughout the UK public sector, enabling them to maintain financial, operational and reputational resiliency whilst operating in today’s evolving cyber security threat landscape.
