Socitm is delighted to announce it has appointed Dave Sanderson as its regional director for the North. His region primarily covers the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This role is a first for Socitm and reflects its commitment to engaging directly with existing and potential members across the UK.

Throughout a distinguished career, Dave has worked within the ICT sector in a variety of high-level sales and account management positions. Renowned for his expertise and collaboration, he is already a vital part of the Socitm community, currently being Secretary for the West Midlands region.

Dave has extensive experience of developing strategic relationships with senior leaders and influencers across the public sector. He has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the strategies, constraints and policies and day to day challenges Socitm members face in today’s disruptive environment. This will only intensify and develop as he settles into his new regional director post.

Among Dave’s principal responsibilities will be engaging with new communities and discussion groups around design, digital and local public service delivery and policy. He will also take a lead in identifying and nurturing strategic relationships across Socitm’s regional communities, focusing on the needs of members and understanding their current and future vision and requirement.

Sanderson recently said:
