TUC: NHS offer must be followed by funded pay rises for all public servants

Commenting on the NHS pay deal announced TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said:

“This is a good step towards fair pay for our hardworking NHS staff. Their dedication has been remarkable, keeping the service running through unprecedented pressures and cuts.

“It’s the result of lots of hard work by unions on behalf of their members.

“The government must now make sure the rest of our hardworking public servants get the pay rise they have earned. And the government must fund it properly.”
