Tech Titans is the technology association for north Texas and home of the Telecom Corridor® area. techUK is the foremost technology association in the UK . Both represent leading centers of high-technology innovation, development and entrepreneurship. Tech Titans is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) metropolitan area, the fourth largest and fastest growing metropolitan area in the United States and a top technology hub. techUK is located in London, the largest and fastest growing tech hub in the UK.
Both Tech Titans and techUK share common interests and goals for their respective technology organizations. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) encourages ongoing interaction regarding development of high tech via in-person delegation visits to each other’s location or via video conferencing, and to promote bilateral commercial and foreign direct investment (FDI) exchanges between their respective regions and nations. In addition, the two organizations will share dialog regarding high tech global standards, common issues in high tech growth areas and technology association best practices. Continued interaction and communications between business, economic development, academic, technology company and technology association leaders of north Texas and the UK will bring further economic success to both regions.
“Tech Titans is pleased to establish a framework of understanding with techUK to promote each other’s programs to our members”, said Bill Sproull, CEO of Tech Titans. “DFW and London are both premier locations for fast growing tech company expansions, from the U.S. into to Europe and from London to the U.S. We’ve agreed to provide soft-landing services to each other’s newly arrived tech firms to help jumpstart their business in a new region and to provide membership in each other’s tech association upon arrival.”
“Texas and specifically the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is the fastest growing technology region in the U.S.” said Julian David, CEO of techUK. “Its highly diversified economy is booming due to low taxes and minimal regulations. Being centrally located in the U.S. and serviced by DFW International Airport, one of the top international airports in the world, makes it the perfect location for a UK technology company to expand into the U.S./north American market. We’re pleased to partner with Tech Titans”.
