#ThanksToYou, National Lottery players!
Help us to celebrate the difference that National Lottery players have made to communities across the UK by saying #ThanksToYou
What is #ThanksToYou?
National Lottery players raise over £30 million for good causes every week, yet many people don’t know about the huge impact that they have on their local community.
To say thank you for their support, from 27 November - 3 December we’ll be sharing stories and achievements from brilliant projects made possible by National Lottery players.
How can my project join in?
We want you to share images, stories and achievements from your projects; telling us how National Lottery funding has helped you to get there. You can get involved by using the #ThanksToYou hashtag on social media and by contacting your local press.
To help you share your story, we’ve put together a toolkit of information and resources for you to use.
What to do
- Download the #ThanksToYou toolkit
- Post your pictures, stories and accomplishments on social media using the hashtag #ThanksToYou
Don’t forget to tag @BigLotteryFund on Twitter and ‘Big Lottery Fund’ on Facebook!
- Send a press release about how National Lottery funding has helped your project to your local press. Use our guide on ‘how to write a press release' to make sure you include all the important details.
