The future of interoperability: join the discussion ahead of Digital Health Rewired 2020
Ahead of Digital Health Rewired 2020, the show that connects current and future health leaders and their teams with the best in disruptive digital health, techUK are hosting a roundtable session on 3 February to explore the direction and ambition of the NHS’s future strategy on interoperability.
techUK is a partner of Digital Health Rewired, the UK’s leading digital health event and trade show, taking place between 3-4 March and the conclusions of this roundtable will be presented there as part of a panel discussion “Are we actually making progress on interoperability?”
This is an event for techUK members with an interest in interoperability to feed into our agenda for 2020. Attendees are invited to deliver short presentations to outline where they feel the pinch points are and how progress can be made.

After the roundtable you can join fellow techUK members and NHS CIOs, CCIOs and other health IT professionals at Rewired 2020 to continue the discussion around how to measure progress on interoperability, on the Rewired Interoperability track.
Returning to London Olympia on 3-4 March, Rewired 2020 will place interoperability, innovation and digital transformation centre stage, and add a dedicated new CCIO and CIO track, as we bring together the most exciting digital health start-ups with NHS IT leaders.
Also new for 2020 is the Digital Health Data Lab, helping delegates gain a better understanding of the latest developments in the use of data and data science tools, and Digital Health Developer Conference, a new educational event for developers working across all parts of health and care.
A packed two days for digital health innovators
The two-day show opens with the one-day Rewired Leadership Summit for the most senior NHS CCIOs and CIOs, leading into day two with the Rewired Conference and Exhibition, aimed at everyone interested in helping shape the digital future of health and care.
Published by Digital Health, publishers of news, research and organisers of the annual CCIO and CIO Summer Schools, Rewired focuses on delivering the most compelling speakers and original programmes to ensure a virant show, with real buzz and excitement and is a must-attend event of the year. No other event attracts so many NHS CCIOs and CIOs.
Compelling speakers confirmed
Jacqueline de Rojas CBE, president of techUK and Matthew Gould CEO NHSX will headline the Rewired Leadership Summit (day one) and Exhibition and Conference (day two) respectively. Other essential speakers include Sarah Wilkinson, CEO NHS Digital, Tara Donnelly, CDIO NHSx and data campaigner Dr Ben Goldacre, plus a glittering line-up of leading NHS CEOs, CCIOs and CIOs, and founders of many of the most exciting digital health start-ups from across Europe.
