National Crime Agency investigators are appealing for information on the whereabouts of two men wanted for questioning in connection with a £4 million drugs conspiracy.

NCA officers believe the pair are involved with an organised crime group responsible for importing cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis into the UK.

Investigators want to speak to 51-year-old Desmond Broad – who is also known as Andrew Nicholas - and 48-year-old Alan Cumming about the importation of 200 kilos of both Class A and B drugs between March 2016 and June 2017.

The friends have links to Liverpool and the Runcorn area of Cheshire.

Mark Perks, NCA investigator, said: “We believe that Alan Cumming is still in the UK. He has strong ties to the North West especially Liverpool.

“However, Desmond Broad fled the UK at the end of February. We believe he may now be in Spain.

“We are appealing to members of the public, who may know their whereabouts or have any information that can help us find them, to come forward and tell us what you know.

“I would also like to remind anyone, who is either helping Broad or Cumming or actively frustrating our attempts to locate them, they could find themselves being arrested.”

Desmond Broad, who also goes by the name of Andrew Nicholas has the nickname ‘Taff’, and speaks with a Welsh accent. His last known address was Edgerton House, Irwell Lane, Runcorn.

He is 6ft, has green eyes and both ears are pierced. He has tattoos on his neck, both arms and hands and on his upper body.

Alan Cumming, speaks with a Liverpool accent, has the nickname ‘Cummo’, He is 6ft tall, has blue eyes and is balding with a shaved head. His last known address was Litherland Road, Bootle.
