Update on Gable Insurance AG

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has now made over 28,000 return of premium payments worth £8.3m to former policyholders of Gable Insurance.

The FSCS is continuing to work closely with the liquidator of Gable, insurance brokers and, where appropriate, the premium finance companies to agree and verify those premium refunds which remain outstanding.

FSCS Chief Executive, Mark Neale says, “FSCS is here to protect consumers. We are continuing our work to ensure policyholders are not out-of-pocket. For most policyholders this involves us making return of premium payments via their broker or finance company.  We are working hard to ensure those that have yet to receive their compensation do so as soon as possible.”
