Update on the Public Accounts Committee and ministerial statement

Find out about our work to shape the future of public sector procurement in Wales.

Work to change public sector procurement continues.

Last September, the then Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Mark Drakeford, announced that the Welsh Government would reshape the outward procurement services provided through the NPS and Value Wales to focus more on regional and local priorities, helping public bodies to meet their wellbeing goals.

In February, our senior management team gave evidence to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the National Assembly on Welsh public sector procurement.

We have received the Committee’s report and have been working hard to implement its recommendations and to deliver Mark Drakeford’s statement.
