Welsh NHS Confederation comments on latest waiting times

A spokesperson for the Welsh NHS Confederation said: “Today’s figures illustrate the significant level of demand for NHS services across Wales, and the challenge that our members face in meeting this.

“Work is going on to reduce waits for patients, and it is pleasing to see a reduction in the total number of people waiting for treatment in recent months.

“We know there are patients who continue to wait too long for treatment and tackling waiting times will remain a priority for our members.”
