Workshop: Wellbeing & Social Ergonomics In The Public Sector

This event is hosted by NEPO, in collaboration with Albany Contract (supplier to NEPO’s Furniture solution) and Workpattern. It is a free to attend event for all NEPO Member Authorities, Associate Members and public sector organisations.

Come along to our free workshop to find out how social ergonomics can help create wellbeing in the workplace.

Takes place 10.00 – 11.30 on Tuesday 26 February in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Collaboration and smart working has been declared an aim by Cabinet Office. This will result in modern workplaces that allow staff to work efficiently from a variety of locations and in a number of ways.

When we feel better, we work better.

This can be achieved by creating a workplace that initiates and regulates social interaction and that takes into consideration factors like:

  • Personal space
  • Physical and Psychological proximity
  • Territoriality

Join us as we invite Bertie Van Wyk from the Herman Miller Insight Team, and explore in workshop format, how social ergonomics interacts with cognitive and physical ergonomics to create a full human experience at work.

After the session, there will be an opportunity for ongoing discussion with Bertie and Albany Contracts’ Workpattern team, as well as to network with your fellow members.

How to book: The event is free but you must register to attend. Click here to book your place.
