Are you a full stack software developer searching for a new opportunity to kick-start 2019? Look no further because we’re hiring!

Following a successful 170 years as one of the UK’s largest awarding organisations, we’re expanding once more and this time it’s our Group IT Team who are looking for talented individuals to join them at our base in Quorum Business Park, Newcastle.

It’s an exciting time at NCFE as we work on a strategic improvement programme, which is a green field site when it comes to technology. This is not just an IT project – we’re building and shaping the future. With investment and support from the NCFE Executive Team, we’re expanding the internal resource capacity within the Group IT team, an initiative we feel is important to fully achieve our goals, and we’re recruiting developers to work across both front and back end solutions.

We’re looking for individuals who have:

• Working experience in developing C# and .Net based applications
• Experience in developing web-based applications and services using ASP.Net, MVC and Web API
• Good understanding of Unit Testing and Dependency Injection
• Solid working knowledge of SQL server, Team Foundation Server, Windows Server, Visual Studio, and VSTS
• Familiarity in use of front end technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, JQuery, Angular and React.
