BCS Members feature in Computer Weekly's 50 most influential women in UK IT list 2016

This year’s list of the 50 most influential women in IT published by Computer Weekly features several inspirational BCS members who are considered role models for diversity and success among the tech community. They include:

The annual list celebrates the role of women in IT, recognises the most influential role models and discusses the vital part that female IT leaders will play in the UK’s high-tech economy.

In addition, several BCS members also featured in the Computer Weekly Hall of Fame, including: Dr Sue Black, Dame Stephanie Shirley, and Distinguished Fellows Dame Wendy Hall and Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho. The Hall of Fame sits alongside Computer Weekly’s annual list of the most influential women in UK IT, and was established to highlight those who have appeared prominently on the list every year, in recognition of their longevity and lifetime contribution.

The list was selected by a judging panel of employers and IT leaders from across industry, along with Computer Weekly readers.
