Our response to the Government's race disparity audit

Neil Carberry, CBI Managing Director for People policy, said:

“Improving inclusion is a shared challenge. Improving careers advice, supporting schools and establishing better paths to skilled work for people from all backgrounds is essential for government.  For business, creating inclusive workplaces where employees feel welcome and able to fulfil their potential, regardless of ethnicity, is not only the right thing to do, it makes good business sense too as it boosts productivity.

“It’s essential that leaders and managers take concrete steps to improve opportunity. Greater transparency is a key part of this but it’s important that that we take a business-led approach to plans, targets and school engagement.”
