CDE Themed Competition: Security for the Internet of Things

The Centre for Defence Enterprise has launched a competition for companies to show their IoT and cyber security expertise.

The Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE) based within MOD's Defence Science & Technology Laboratories (Dstl) has released information about a themed competition that is being run on behalf of the UK intelligence agencies: The Security Service (MI5), Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) and the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) (MI6).

The themed competition is looking to address issues around the security for the Internet of Things. CDE would like to engage industry around such questions as:

CDE has up to £1 million available for phase 1 of this competition. They expect to fund a number of projects around £60,000 to £90,000 for a duration of around 3 months. The competition will end Thursday 29 October.

There will be a CDE hosted networking event in London on 1 October to explain more about the Themed Competition.
