The National Audit Office yesterday published its report on the progress made by the Charity Commission. The Commission is the regulator of charities in England and Wales and is an independent, non-ministerial government department accountable to Parliament.

The National Audit Office yesterday published its report on the progress made by the Charity Commission. The Commission is the regulator of charities in England and Wales and is an independent, non-ministerial government department accountable to Parliament.
The report focuses on the progress that the Commission has made since the NAO’s last report which was published in 2015. The report examines areas that could be improved and makes suggestions for the Commission to consider next.
