23 Jan 2015 02:34 PM
We are holding a Diversity Week from 26-30 January, to highlight ongoing work across the organisation on the representation of diverse histories.

East Indian Immigrants, from the Caribbean through a lens outreach project, catalogue reference: CO 1069-355-4
This will include two free talks, one by Stephen Bourne on the military and civilian wartime experiences of Afro-Caribbean men and women in the First World War, and one by Jill Liddington on the 1911 census boycott by various women’s suffrage groups, particularly focusing on the diversity of the suffrage supporters.
We will be blogging about our diverse history records during the week, and keep an eye out for ourPintrest board where we will be adding pins to showcase some of the diverse images we hold, using the hashtag #IllustratingDiversity.
