Early Tech Career Network: Intro to Data Ethics

4 Nov 2019 01:39 PM

Connect with others who are also new to the tech sector! techUK's next Early Tech Career Network event is happening on 7 November at Visa.

The Early Tech Career Network was established by techUK to bring together leading technology companies and enable people entering the tech industry the opportunity to build their knowledge and add value to the organisations for which they work.

The main purpose of the network is to connect with others who are also new to the sector and build up a platform for support. These events have been useful in connecting people to those outside of their organisation. Each event has a broad theme and we hear from great senior speakers from across the sector who often discuss their career progression alongside their work and the evening's tech topic of focus.

If you are early in your tech career, and work for a techUK member organisation, please join us for a networking and seminar event hosted at Visa, exploring an introduction to Data Ethics with great speakers:

Jessica Lennard, Director of External Affairs, Data Science Lab, Visa

Maria Axente, Artificial Intelligence Programme Driver and AI for Good Lead, PwC United Kingdom

Louise Pakseresht, Senior Policy Advisor, Centre for Data Ethics & Innovation

Jenny Brennan, Reseacher, Ada Lovelace Institute

Thursday 7 November, 6:00pm – 8:00pm (registration from 5:45pm)

Visa, 1 Sheldon Square, London, W2 6TT

They'll be a light buffet and lots of drinks to round the evening off. We welcome all who are interested in meeting with like-minded tech professionals early in their career!
