FESTIVE TRAVEL INFORMATION

Plan your festive trips and avoid disruption. Here is a summary of travel information up to 30 December.

There will be a normal service on the Tube until 15:00, after which there will be fewer trains on the Metropolitan line. The last trains on all lines will run to a Sunday timetable except the Waterloo & City line which will close around 23:15.

London Overground services will begin to wind down from around 21:00. The last TfL Rail service will leave Liverpool Street at 21:00. From 19:30, an evening service will run on the DLR, with the last trains departing between 22.02 and 23.01. On Trams, there will be no route 4 service after 18:00 and fewer trams will run on routes 1, 2 and 3.

25 December
No Tube, bus, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail or tram services will run.

26 December 
No London Overground or TfL Rail services will run. The DLR will run every ten minutes between 08.30 and half-past midnight. Trams will run a Sunday service. The Tube will mainly run a Sunday service, starting an hour later than usual, except the Waterloo & City line which will not run.

Improvement works will affect the following lines: Circle line: no service between Hammersmith and Tower Hill (via King's Cross St. Pancras). There will be a special Circle line service between Edgware Road and Barking (via Victoria).

Hammersmith & City line: no service between Hammersmith and Aldgate East. Replacement buses will call at: Baker Street - Edgware Road - Paddington - Royal Oak - Westbourne Park - Ladbroke Grove - Latimer Road - Shepherd's Bush (Central line) - Shepherd's Bush Green (for Shepherd's Bush Market and Goldhawk Road) - Hammersmith.

Metropolitan line: no service between Baker Street and Aldgate. A Sunday service will run on the rest of the line, and there will be fewer trains after 20:00.

27 December
See 26 December entry for Tube service information (normal Sunday hours apply on 27 December, services start an hour later on 26 December only). The DLR will run a Sunday service. There will be no TfL Rail service between Ilford and Shenfield - replacement buses will run. London Overground will run a Sunday service, but some train times may change. No service will run on the following lines owing to improvement works:

the replacement bus service between Gunnersbury and Willesden Junction • Highbury & Islington - Shadwell. Replacement buses will run

28 December
See 26 December entry for Tube line closures information. All lines will operate a Saturday service. The DLR will run a normal service and Trams will run a Saturday service. TfL Rail trains will run every 15 minutes, except between Ilford and Shenfield where there's no service. Replacement buses will run.

London Overground will run a Saturday service, but some train times may change - see 27 December
entry for line closures owing to improvement works.

29-30 December
See 26 December entry for Tube line closures information. All lines will operate a Saturday service. London Overground will also run a Saturday service, but some train times may change. Planned works mean there will be no service between Richmond and Willesden Junction. Use the District line between Richmond and Gunnersbury and take the replacement bus service between Gunnersbury and Willesden
Junction.

TfL Rail will run fewer trains between Liverpool Street and Shenfield. A Saturday tram service will run and there'll be a normal service on the DLR.

There are no planned Tube, DLR, Trams or TfL Rail works this weekend. However, on Sunday there will be no London Overground service on the following routes owing to Network Rail track work:

Use local buses via all reasonable routes or Southern services between Norwood Junction and Crystal Palace.
