FRC: Request for insight into hedging practices by insurers

EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) has launched a questionnaire targeted at insurers.
EFRAG would like to gain a better understanding of the impact of adopting IFRS 9 Financial Instruments and IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts on hedging strategies and practices. EFRAG seeks this information as part of its endorsement advice on IFRS 17 for the European Commission.
The FRC encourages UK insurers to participate and provide their feedback to EFRAG. Responses are due by 16 September 2019.
