First Round Of Digital Health Technology Catalyst Funding Confirmed

Suppliers can apply for a share of £8 million to accelerate digital healthcare solutions.

Following on from the recent announcement of funds on the back of the Accelerated Access Review, Innovate UK has confirmed details of an £8 million fund to help SMEs develop new digital technology solutions to healthcare challenges.

In a brief published last week, (Digital technology for healthcare: apply for funding), Innovate UK states that projects must focus on the development of digital health or digitally-enabled medical technologies and must have the potential to achieve one or more of the following:

• improve patient outcomes
• transform healthcare delivery
• enable more efficient delivery of healthcare
