Food information issues aren't always simple and you need to make a decision based on the information provided and from observing the regulations.

David Pickering, CTSI Lead Officer for Food Standards uses practical examples to examine food standards enforcement issues and assess how officers can reach pragmatic resolutions to them satisfying regulatory and business needs.

The theme behind this session is to dive deep into examples of food standards issues that have arisen and put them into a practical context since we're now starting to move away from the exit date and seeing new regulations come into force.

Whilst there is still uncertainty, David looks at the reasons why and how these could be resolved to enable the market to continue to operate effectively.
