Foreign and Commonwealth Office files from 1984 and 1985 released

More than 1,000 Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) records from 1984 and 1985 are now available to view in the reading rooms at The National Archives. This release contains records from the following file series:
1984 series

The records cover a wide range of subject matters concerning UK relations with the Middle East, South Africa, Republic of Ireland and North America. The material reflects events in the territories and the views of Her Majesty’s Government’s at that time.
