Free event for organisations across Wales - how we can help you support local people to improve their digital skills?

26 Apr 2021 03:53 PM

Over the past year the need for people to have the skills, devices and connectivity to be online has become increasingly important. At Good Things Foundation we’ve seen thousands of organisations continue to support local people with digital skills throughout the course of the pandemic via telephone, video call, and where safe, in person.

We’re working with Wales Cooperative Centre, supporting their Digital Communities Wales programme. As part of this partnership, we’re reaching as many organisations who aren’t currently members of the Online Centres Network as possible, to talk to them about the support we offer. At this event you’ll be able to find out about our free Online Centres Network membership which includes access to training and resources, the chance to apply for free devices to give to people you support and opportunities to apply for funding and so much more.

As well as having the opportunity to network with like minded people across Wales and take part in some practical sessions, you’ll also get to hear from Wales Cooperative Centre and Age Connects Wales about their involvement in Digital Communities Wales.

You can register for the event here. If you have any questions, or can’t attend but want to find out more about the work we do, please email hello@goodthingsfoundation.org with ‘Digital Inclusion in Wales’ as the subject line.
