We know that many Online Centres are facing challenging times, with the outbreak of coronavirus meaning the support you provide for your community has moved online - if you’re still able to operate at all. We understand this brings new and sometimes challenging ways of working for your staff, volunteers and learners.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been reaching out to gain insight from our network to learn more about the pressures you are facing and what more we can do to help. That’s why we’re launching the Response and Resilience Fund, to provide short-term support for Online Centres at immediate risk of closure due to cashflow issues caused directly by the current crisis. The fund aims to enable Online Centres to continue to support local communities and to be sustainable, in order to be in a position to reopen once the current challenges subside.

The Response and Resilience fund offers unrestricted funding of £3,000 in the form of a one-off grant and allow Online Centres to put the funding to best use to enable delivery to continue. Online Centres who receive a grant from this fund will be required to complete two online surveys between May and July 2020.
