Get Online Week 2018: The hunt is on!

As many of you will know, Get Online Week is coming back! Taking place 15-21 of October, the 2018 campaign will once again ask people to Try 1 Thing. We want people to try doing just one new thing online, as a next step to getting more out of the internet.

And as in previous years, we're looking for learners from inside the Online Centres Network to be the stars of our campaign, featuring in posters and on the website. We want to highlight the changes to people's lives getting online can bring - encouraging others to give it a go - by telling the stories (and taking the photos) of a handful of your learners.

We've already got a few of stars lined up but we'd like your help in finding the last few. We're really interested in finding stories of people who have used digital skills to:

If you have a learner who you think fits the bill, please email hello@goodthingsfoundation.org with the full name, age and why you think they should feature in this year's Get Online Week, and a picture of your nominee.

Progress on to accredited learning (this could be college, university or a vocational course)
Look after their health (this could be finding out more about a health condition, finding advice to manage their health or finding support from people in their shoes)
Feel less isolated or lonely (this could be reconnecting with old friends online, finding a partner, or keeping in touch with faraway family)
