Suad Sufaj, aged 26, was stopped by officers as he travelled in a car along Bowes Road, Enfield, north London, on 26 September last year. A search of the car uncovered a kilo of cocaine with a street value of £100,000.

OCP officers searched his home where they found another 8.5 kilos of cocaine worth approximately £800,000.

Sufaj pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine and was sentenced at Kingston Crown Court

Matt McMillan, from the NCA, recently said:

“Disrupting the supply of Class A drugs is crucial in our efforts to tackle organised crime and the violence it causes in and around London.

“Working with our partners from the Met we have stopped nearly £1m of cocaine from getting onto the streets on the UK.”

Following his sentence Sufaj will be deported to Albania.
