LEADING figures from politics will be among those speaking at the UK’s flagship cyber security gathering next week.

GCHQ Director Jeremy Fleming will also address the event, along with a range of high-profile speakers working in cyber security both in the UK and overseas.

CYBERUK is a key date for cyber security professionals, where thought leaders and technical professionals come together and exchange ideas.

This year’s CYBERUK will take place on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th May and is fully virtual, allowing wider participation than ever before as both live and pre-recorded sessions are offered online.

Lindy Cameron, NCSC CEO, said:

“CYBERUK has become a key date in the calendar for the cyber security community, and this year we will have a range of distinguished speakers participating.

“It’s a rare opportunity to have so much world-class expertise coming together at one time to exchange ideas, and this year’s virtual format will allow wider access to them than ever before.

“I would encourage anyone with an interest in cyber security to take this opportunity to hear from thought leaders at the very forefront of cyber security.”

The overarching theme of this year’s event is ‘Building a resilient and prosperous digital UK following COVID-19’, and will feature content of interest to cyber security leaders and professionals, risk owners, and interested citizens.

This year’s event will offer a mixture of live keynotes and panels, as well as a selection of pre-recorded content from the NCSC and event sponsors for participants to watch in their own time.
