World leaders from across the Commonwealth will head to London next week for five days of events across numerous venues throughout the Capital.

Heads of Government, foreign ministers and thousands of delegates from across our Commonwealth nations will come together for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

The summit will take place from Monday to Friday, creating the largest gathering of world leaders ever hosted in the UK.

Events will start with a ceremonial opening at Buckingham Palace, followed by meetings at The Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre and Guildhall in the City, and a gathering at Windsor Castle.

The delegates will focus on addressing shared challenges across the Commonwealth.

Given the high-profile nature of this event, additional security measures will be in place. Some roads in central London will be closed and people are advised to check before they travel at: tfl.gov.uk/chogm-travel.
