MP Ed Vaizey to present at BCS Hackfe5t event in Oxford

Wantage MP Ed Vaizey is to present at Hackfe5t, a new, bi-annual cyber safety event at Mansfield College, University of Oxford Thursday 15 December.

The event entitled ‘The role of insurance in managing cyber risk - the limits of liability’ is being hosted by the BCS Internet Specialist Group, part of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and KLipcorp IP, who are experts in digital IP protection and cybersecurity. 

Howard Gerlis, Chair of the BCS Internet Specialist Group says: “This event will be a great opportunity for all those concerned with being cyber safe to discuss new developments, share ideas and network. We welcome anyone interested to come along and share views about this important topic.”

Ed Vaizey MP and BoxingGuru, a former IP pirate and hacker, will be presenting at the event alongside representatives from the Police and the University of Abertay.
