Reform yesterday announced three new members of its cross-party Advisory Board, chaired by Rt Hon Baroness Nicky Morgan of Cotes, and including former Ministers Rt Hon Caroline Flint and George Freeman MP.

Meg Hillier MP, Chair of the Public Accounts Committee and former Minister, and Shadow Cabinet member, yesterday said:

“As we come out of the pandemic, it is essential that we take this opportunity to reset and address the deep inequalities that are holding so many of our citizens back.

“It is for these reasons that I am delighted to be joining Reform’s Advisory Board. I look forward to bringing my experience as an MP, Minister and Chair of the Public Accounts Committee to help shape a bold new vision for the future.”

Robert Nisbet, Director, Nations & Regions, Rail Delivery Group, and former political broadcast journalist, yesterday said:

“I’m delighted to be joining the Advisory Board of one of Britain’s most important think tanks.

“Its research couldn’t be more important in 2021, as the country starts to interrogate the lessons of the public sector’s response to Covid-19 and begins the long process of recovery. I hope my experience as a broadcast journalist - and now spokesperson for one of Britain’s largest industries - will help Reform’s vital work reach the widest and most influential audience.”

Katie Perrior, Chair of iNHouse Communications and former Downing Street Director of Communications, yesterday said:

“As Reform goes from strength to strength, it is a pleasure to be invited to join the Advisory Board at one of the most critical times facing the country.

“I love Reform’s approach to policy making – instead of policy wonks producing papers which do little more than gather dust, Reform’s team concentrate on practical recommendations to government which have the potential to improve millions of lives. This is why I’m excited to be part of the next stage of Reform’s progress and looking forward to serving alongside some great colleagues and an illustrious Board.”

Reform Director, Charlotte Pickles, yesterday said:

“It is an honour to have Meg, Robert and Katie supporting Reform’s work.

“Their combined experience of government, Whitehall and the media will prove invaluable to Reform’s cross-party advisory board. As Reform focuses on the big challenges facing post-pandemic Britain, we are delighted to be able to draw on the wisdom, and experience of such a distinguished set of public and private sector leaders."
