On Tuesday 6 March MI5 hosted a meeting of the 30% Club in its Headquarters, Thames House.
In 2010 the 30% Club launched as a campaign in the UK to achieve a minimum of 30% women on FTSE-100 boards.
Andrew Parker, Director General MI5, took part in a panel discussion about the importance of inclusion.
This was one of a series of events in MI5 this week coinciding with International Women's Day and marking MI5's commitment to inclusivity.
Andrew Parker said:
I have spoken before about the need for MI5 to have the richest mix of talents in order to keep the country safe. In the face of diverse and multi-dimensional security threats, this remains more important than ever.
