NEPO is working in partnership with The Procurement Partnership Ltd (TPPL) to develop a building materials solution for use by the UK public sector.

NEPO219 Building Materials will take the form of a dynamic purchasing solution (DPS) and will cover the following categories:

Joanne Peacock, Assistant Procurement Manager at NEPO yesterday said:

“NEPO has worked with TPPL since the launch of our strategic fleet partnership in 2017, and we look forward to extending this successful collaboration into our construction category. NEPO219 Building Materials will meet public sector requirements for a range of construction and maintenance projects. By adopting a DPS model we will encourage participation from new entrants to the market and SMEs, by allowing them to join the DPS at any point in its five-year duration, ultimately providing public sector end-users with choice and value for money.”

Suppliers wishing to be considered for inclusion on the DPS should visit the NEPO Portal (a NEPO Portal account is required, registration is free-of-charge). The deadline for responses for inclusion on the initial DPS is noon Monday 6 January 2020.

The DPS will commence on 21 January 2020, and will be in place for 60 months. Suppliers will be able to join the DPS throughout its lifetime.
