NEPO seek supplier for Social Care Research and Information Tool

The twelve North East local authorities want to ensure that their Adult and Children’s Social Care workforce are skilled and knowledgeable to deliver quality services to Children, Young People and families that access their services.

Newcastle City Council is acting as the lead authority on behalf of NEPO and its Member Authorities to establish a contract for the delivery of an online research and information tool to be used predominately by Adults and Children’s Social Care professionals. 

This Social Care Research and Information Tool will allow North East local authorities to access a range of research and information including:

• example case studies
• tailored learning and development
• webinars, face to face and e-learning modules

A draft procurement timeline is noted below. This is subject to change:

• Noon 6 May 2019 - Deadline for expressions of interest
• May 2019 – Evaluation of Tenders
• May 2019 – System demonstrations
• July 2019 – Notification of results of evaluation
• August 2019 – Contract starts
