techUK delighted to announce the members of the Local Public Services Committee.

Nominations to join techUK’s Local Public Services Committee (LPSC) opened this summer and I’m delighted to announce the new members.

Composed of 11 SME reps and 14 from larger companies, this year’s LPSC brings together a diverse range of tech industry leaders who will champion the sector and drive an ambitious programme of activity between techUK and local government.

The LPSC will steer techUK’s work on delivering better local public service outcomes and work with councils and the wider tech industry to help create the environment that enables transformation to happen and innovation to flourish at the local level. As well as looking at how the technologies of today and tomorrow can tackle some of the biggest challenges both councils and our communities face.

Now for the part you’ve been waiting for, please see below our new members:

Faith la Grange, Director, Local & Regional Government, Microsoft newly elected chair said:

“I’m thrilled to be elected Chair of the Local Public Services Committee (LPSC). The LPSC brings together a diverse group of suppliers both small and large to agree a common agenda to best support the transformation of local public service and improve citizen outcomes.”

“I look forward to working with the committee, wider techUK membership and local authorities to explore how the technologies of today and tomorrow can tackle some of the biggest challenges councils and our communities face.”

“We want to learn from councils about their transformation journeys, challenges they have faced, and key asks to industry on how we can better work together to facilitate better partnerships that deliver a shared ambition of better services for all citizens. If you’re a local authority that wants to share your journey or you’re looking at how digital can transform your council do get in touch, as we are keen to grow our regional engagement as well as hear what you think we should be focusing on. I’m excited for what we can achieve together to drive real value across the local govtech eco-system.“
