Following a successful pilot programme, our forums are now available to all government communicators members from government departments, Arm’s-Length Bodies and devolved administrations, offering a secure and collaborative environment to engage with colleagues across the profession.
We currently offer forums for locations, communication disciplines, and cross-cutting topics like innovation and the government’s national Missions. More forums will be added soon.
Building a stronger professional community
The launch of these forums represents an important step in strengthening our professional community and supporting communications excellence across government.
The forums have been purposely designed to address the need for better cross-government collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Members can now:

- Seek advice and gather views on communication challenges
- Share best practice and success stories
- Promote upcoming events and learning opportunities
- Advertise job vacancies and secondment opportunities
A safe space for professional exchange
The forums provide a secure environment for open discussion, reinforced by our team of moderators who ensure adherence to the forums’ community values and terms of use. This means members can participate confidently, knowing professional standards are being maintained.
