Next-generation CCTV: apply for contracts

Organisations can apply for a share of up to £150,000 for an improved, flexible, public space CCTV system for South Ayrshire.

South Ayrshire Council has up to £150,000 to invest in projects that look at ways of making its future CCTV systems more flexible and better able to provide safety and security for its community.

The council wants to investigate a system that is self-powered, suitable for fixing simply and easily to many different surfaces and meets existing and new data protection regulations.

Funding for the competition is under the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI).
