Nominations OPEN NOW for techUK's Cloud Leadership Committee

17 Jan 2020 11:20 AM

techUK has today opened nominations for members to join its Cloud Leadership Committee which is holding re-elections for the first time. The Committee is elected every two years to steer the development of action orientated projects, thought leadership campaigns and public policy engagement in order to drive the UK cloud computing market forward.

The Cloud Leadership Committee provides strategic direction for techUK’s Cloud Computing work programme, ensuring the programme accurately reflects members’ priorities. It meets every quarter to identify key opportunities and challenges that need to be addressed to develop and move forward the UK cloud computing market.

To nominate yourself, or a colleague, simply read through the Terms of Reference for the Cloud Leadership Committee, complete the attached nomination form and return it to sue.daley@techUK.org by 17:30 on Monday 3rd February at the latest.  Following nominations an election process will be held from 6-13 February, with the members of the new Committee announced the week of the 17 February ahead of the first Committee meeting in early March.

Please note that only one representative per techUK member company is allowed to sit on the Leadership Committees at any one time. Also members of the Leadership Committees must be able to commit to attending and actively participating in activities as set out in the Terms of Reference below.

Once the Committee is elected in February the members of the Committees will elect a Chair and Vice-Chair.  Members interested in being considered as Chair or Vice Chair of the Committee are asked to mention this in their nomination.

If you are interested in nominating yourself and have any questions about the techUK Cloud Computing  programme please don't hesitate to contact Sue Daley (sue.daley@techuk.org)
